Key Attributes

Previous experience as a Sommelier in fine dining restaurant.
Strong knowledge of international wine regions, grape varieties, vintages, and food pairing principles.
WSET Level 2, Court of Master Sommeliers certification, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Exceptional communication and guest service skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for continuous learning and staying informed about wine trends and producers.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Role & Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding wine and beverage service with professionalism and confidence in Àclèaf.
Recommend wine pairings that complement seasonal tasting menus and à la carte dishes.
Present, open, decant, and serve wines according to fine dining service standards.
Assist in developing and updating the wine list to reflect quality, diversity, and current trends.
Manage wine inventory, stock rotation and cellar organisation.
Monitor stock levels and take charge of with ordering, receiving, storage and stock take of wines and beverages.
Deliver a personalised guest experience by understanding preferences and exceeding expectations.
