Litho Machine Operator
We are currently looking for an experienced Litho Machine Operator to join our team producing a wide range of high quality & environmentally responsible print solutions from our modern printing facility based in Shaftesbury, North Dorset.
As the Litho Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating our latest Komori Advance GL540+C & Komori HUV GL540+C machinery within the litho environment, consistently and efficiently producing quality products to ISO 12647 printing standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Run the Komori Presses to the standards set out in the KPI Information Sheet.
- Produce work to match Hi-res Proof or ISO 12647 standards.
- Comply with Health & Safety & Environmental practices at all times.
- Maintain the press and keep records of maintenance.
- Pass Sheet Approval.
- Pull Running Sheets every 5% of the job and Time Stamp sheet (both sides of the sheet are backed up).
- Label finished pallets with Pallet ID’s and mark up area for files.
- Maintain quality of job throughout the run to stamped up pass sheet.
- Attend and comply with all training.
Required skills:
- Relevant skills or qualification in printing technology.
- Proven industry experience in operating litho printing machinery.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with Komori or other litho machinery as cross training can be given.
12 hour shift work, 3 week shift rotation, Monday to Saturday
