The Role
Working closely with the Compliance Manager and operational teams, you will play a key role in
maintaining compliance, supporting customer requirements, reducing the Cost of Poor Quality
(COPQ), and driving continuous improvement throughout the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in quality engineering
within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with exposure to quality systems, audits, problem-
solving, and business improvement.

Key Responsibilities
• Support continuous improvement projects to reduce COPQ

Investigate non-conformances and shop floor issues, identifying root causes and implementing

corrective actions

Apply structured problem-solving tools including 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, and 5 Whys
Create and manage customer documentation packs and quality records
Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
Conduct internal audits and support customer, supplier, and regulatory audits
Raise and manage corrective actions and change notes
Support customer complaint investigations and wider quality improvement activities

Essential Requirements
• Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong communication and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail
Good Microsoft Office skills
Ability to manage workload and work calmly under pressure
Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Desirable Experience
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor qualification

Experience in structured problem solving (8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
APQP knowledge including PPAP, Control Plans, DFMEA, and PFMEA
Experience producing FAIRs to SAE International AS9102
Understanding of Environmental, Health & Safety, and Welding compliance requirements
