Weighbridge Operator – Full Time
Hours: 7.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Quarry site, Portlethen
Pay: Competitive, weekly pay
We are looking for a responsible, conscientious and reliable Weighbridge Operator to run a busy quarry weighbridge. The role involves weighing vehicles, completing paperwork accurately, and keeping things moving safely and efficiently.
Job Overview
You will manage the weighing of all incoming and outgoing vehicles, record details correctly, and communicate clearly with drivers and the quarry team. This role suits someone organised, steady, and confident working in a fast‑paced environment.
Duties
- Operate the weighbridge safely and accurately
- Weigh all vehicles entering and leaving the quarry
- Record product types, quantities and vehicle details
- Complete weighbridge tickets and keep paperwork tidy
- Communicate clearly with drivers and site staff
- Report any discrepancies or issues
- Maintain organised records for audit purposes
Requirements
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident using basic computer systems
- Good communication skills
- Able to stay organised in a busy environment
- Previous weighbridge or admin experience helpful but not essential
