About Us

Auto Body Centre is a well-established and highly reputable Accident Repair Centre based in Preston. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and professional Panel Beater / Paint Technician to join our skilled team.

We offer top rates of pay for experienced, high-performing candidates and a modern, well-equipped workshop environment.

The Role

You will carry out high-quality body repairs and refinishing work to industry and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities:

Assessing vehicle damage and carrying out body repairs
Repairing and replacing panels
Straightening and aligning chassis and frames
Filling, sanding and preparing panels for paint
Spray painting in a spray booth
Reassembling vehicle components
Final finishing and polishing

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Paint Technician
Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair and paint processes
High attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop
ATA / NVQ / IMI qualifications desirable but not essential
