Legal Assistant / Litigation Support / Legal Secretary / Litigation Assistant

Preston office | Full time, permanent, 35 hours, 5 days per week

Based in our Preston office, just a stone's throw from Avenham and Miller Parks, you'll enjoy a welcoming office environment where collaboration, relationship-building and team spirit are part of everyday life.

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys being around people. Our lawyers are looking for a colleague who thrives in an office setting, values face-to-face interaction, and enjoys building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.

What will you be doing?

Working closely with experienced litigation lawyers, helping to progress a varied caseload and ensuring clients receive an outstanding service.

Expect plenty of variety, including:

Collaborating directly with clients and professional contacts

Supporting lawyers with case progression and administration

Managing diaries and arranging meetings

Undertaking research and preparing documents

Handling client enquiries

Assisting with billing, compliance, and file management

Playing a key role in keeping the team organised and running smoothly.

Who are we looking for?

You do not necessarily need decades of experience, but you are someone who:

Enjoys collaborating with people and building relationships.

Is organised, proactive, and loves keeping things on track.

Communicates well

Takes pride in delivering great client service.

Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to the wider office community.

Experience within litigation would be a real advantage, particularly if you have worked as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or in a similar legal support role.
