Environmental Compliance & Services Ltd (ECAS) is dedicated to helping water utilities reduce sewer blockages and flooding by engaging with the food service sector. We focus on educating and supporting clients to install measures that trap fats, oils, and grease at the source, ensuring a cleaner and safer sewer system through inspections, guidance, and ongoing monitoring.

Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Trainee Drainage Technician to work in the Preston/Lancashire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the drainage industry. You will receive on-the-job training and gain practical experience working alongside an experienced drainage technician.

Duties will include:

Assisting with drainage investigations CCTV surveys, drainage tracing and misconnection tracing work as well as general site duties.
Communicating with customers about scheduled works.
Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure readiness.

No previous experience is essential, although a willingness to work towards one would be advantageous.

A full UK driving license is desirable or a willingness to work towards one would be advantageous.

A strong interest in drainage utilities or civil engineering
A practical hands-on approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
