A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Accurately process stock movements, goods received, and dispatch documentation, ensuring inventory records are maintained within the warehouse management system (WMS).
Prepare and manage warehouse administration, including delivery notes, purchase orders, invoices, and transport documentation.
Liaise with warehouse operatives, transport teams, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries, resolve stock queries, and support daily operations.
Carry out stock checks, cycle counts, and investigate inventory discrepancies to maintain high levels of stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
Produce reports, update spreadsheets, and support compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and quality requirements using Microsoft Office applications.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy when processing stock records, inventory data, and warehouse documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook) and confident using warehouse management systems (WMS) or stock control software.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse teams, transport staff, suppliers, and customers.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload, resolve stock discrepancies, and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
