Full job description

Green & Olive Solicitors is a growing, client-focused law firm with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. We are looking to recruit a Compliance & Post-Completion Assistant to support our busy Conveyancing Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience who is organised, detail-oriented and looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing all post-completion matters for residential conveyancing transactions.
Preparing and submitting SDLT returns.
Dealing with Land Registry applications and requisitions.
Liaising with clients, lenders, the Land Registry and other third parties.
Ensuring compliance with lender requirements and regulatory obligations.
Assisting with file audits and ensuring files are fully compliant before closure.
Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's case management system.
Supporting the conveyancing team with general compliance and administrative tasks.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Previous experience in conveyancing, particularly post-completion work.
A good understanding of Land Registry applications and SDLT procedures.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
