South West Automation Systems, are looking for a Gate Engineer to join our team in Redruth. We install, service and repair automatic gates, barriers and access control systems across Cornwall.

Role Responsibilities
- Install automatic gates, sliding gate systems and automated barriers
- Fault find, service and repair gate automation equipment
- Install access control systems (intercoms, GSM, keypads)
- Work with electrical and mechanical components
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience with automatic gates
- Strong fault‑finding ability
- Basic electrical knowledge (low voltage beneficial)
- Good practical and problem‑solving skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
Beneficial experience:
- CAME, FAAC, NICE or similar automation systems
- Access control systems
- Welding or fabrication
- Garage doors
