About the Role
We're looking for a charismatic, energetic and confident individual to become the face of our live music and entertainment venue. This is much more than a traditional hosting role – we want someone who can create an unforgettable atmosphere, engage with guests and bring our events to life.
You'll be responsible for making sure every guest feels welcomed, entertained and included, keeping the energy high across our live music nights, themed evenings and karaoke sessions.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and set a warm, friendly and energetic tone from the moment they arrive.
- Mingle with customers throughout events, encouraging engagement and participation.
- Introduce performers, artists and acts as the Event MC.
- Host and run karaoke sessions, getting the audience involved.
- Support the smooth running of live music nights and special events.
- Keep energy levels high and help create a memorable customer experience.
- Promote upcoming events and venue activities to guests.
- Work closely with bar and venue staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Represent the venue professionally at all times.
Essential Skills & Qualities
- Outgoing, confident and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and addressing large audiences.
- Able to think on your feet and adapt to different situations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- A genuine passion for live entertainment and hospitality.
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Experience hosting events, performing, presenting or public speaking.
- Creating, organising and hosting games and activities (e.g. quizzes, bingo, party games).
- Performance skills such as singing or stand-up comedy, and the confidence to join in karaoke sessions.
- Previous experience as an MC, entertainer, performer or venue host.
- Experience working in hospitality, bars or live event environments.
Working Hours
The role is currently available on Friday and Saturday evenings, coinciding with our live entertainment programme. As the venue grows and our events calendar expands, there may be opportunities for additional shifts and increased hours for the right candidate.
