Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support medication administration in accordance with prescribed instructions and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, behavior management, and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments, employing patience and understanding
- Support families through caregiving tasks including light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship services such as child or elder care
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and assist with medication management and first aid procedures when required
Experience
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care practices
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and first aid procedures
- Experience in caregiving roles involving heavy lifting or physical support is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for transportation needs are preferred but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism is a plus
