Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Administrator to support daily logistics and supply chain operations. The role will be responsible for coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, tracking deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with suppliers, customers, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain shipping, delivery, purchase, and logistics documentation.
- Arrange transportation with approved freight forwarders, couriers, and transport companies.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery status.
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams regarding logistics activities.
- Verify shipping documents, delivery notes, invoices, and other relevant paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and transportation activities.
- Follow up with suppliers, customers, and transporters regarding pending deliveries or discrepancies.
- Assist in resolving delivery delays, damaged goods, shortages, and other logistics issues.
- Monitor transportation costs and assist with logistics-related reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable import/export and transportation requirements.
- Update logistics systems, ERP platforms, and spreadsheets with accurate information.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports as required.
- Support the Logistics Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and reference purposes.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics administration, supply chain, transportation, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of shipment coordination and logistics documentation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with ERP or logistics management systems is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
