Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist
Location: Inverness/Highlands (5 Days Per Week Onsite)
Role: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + Comprehensive Benefits
Clearance: BPSS Eligibility Required

F5 are delighted to be partnering with a leading technology organisation supporting a highly secure and complex customer environment.

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist with a background in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Security Architecture, and Vulnerability Management.

This is a critical position responsible for driving security governance, risk management, compliance, vulnerability assessment and security design assurance across a multi-technology environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring security-by-design principles are embedded within all solutions whilst maintaining alignment to industry frameworks including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.

Experience Required

Strong experience within Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and security risk management.
Experience operating as a Security Architect, Technical Design Authority (TDA) or similar security leadership position.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR, NIST and ITIL.
Good understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
Experience advising on cloud, network, infrastructure and identity security.
Experience supporting audits, assurance reviews and compliance programmes.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience managing vulnerability assessment and remediation activities.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience working within highly secure or regulated environments.
Security architecture or industry-recognised cyber security certifications.
Experience designing and implementing security governance processes.
