We are currently recruiting for an Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser to support our practices across the North of Scotland and surrounding areas. This position is available on a full time or part time basis.

The right candidate must be:

A qualified Audiologist / Hearing Aid Dispenser
Have a valid driving license
Able to demonstrate an aptitude for working as a team member in promoting Hearing Care within an Optical environment
Passionate about providing high quality care
Enthusiastic for working in a fast paced environment
Wax removal training preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Core duties include;

Carrying out examinations of patient's ears to determine the health of the outer and inner ear
Carrying out hearing assessments to determine the possible need for hearing correction
Carrying out wax removals as required (training will be provided if necessary)
Providing the best advice on which hearing systems may be most suitable for patient's hearing loss and lifestyle requirements
Programming these hearing aids and completing a rehabilitation process with the patient through a series of follow up appointments
Managing hearing clinics, diary management and liaising with suppliers regarding products and technology requirements and stock
