Full job description

Bakery Manager – New Local Brunch & Bakery

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Bakery Manager to take ownership of the bakery side of an exciting new local brunch eatery.

We want someone with a real passion for baking and creating. You’ll have the freedom to develop an amazing range of fresh, made-in-house counter products — from pies, pastries and savoury bakes to cakes, traybakes and seasonal specials.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the range, try new ideas and create the kind of counter people can’t walk past without buying something.

The Role

Create and develop our range of fresh counter products
Produce pies, savoury bakes, pastries, cakes and sweet treats
Make products from scratch in-house, with a focus on quality and flavour
Develop seasonal specials and bring new ideas to the counter
Manage daily production, prep, ordering, stock and waste
Maintain excellent standards of consistency, food hygiene and presentation
Work alongside the kitchen and front-of-house teams to build a brilliant overall food offer

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be an experienced baker who is confident working independently and managing your own production.

More importantly, we want someone who loves creating — someone who gets excited about developing new products, experimenting with flavours and seeing customers enjoy what they’ve made.

You’ll need to be organised, reliable and able to balance creativity with consistency, volume and food cost.

This is a great opportunity to join a new independent brunch eatery from the beginning, with real freedom to shape the bakery range and make it your own.
