Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our vehicles, providing exceptional customer service while diagnosing and resolving issues.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs or upgrades.
Rebuilding engines.
work on electrical vehicles.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, identifying any mechanical issues or necessary repairs.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in diagnosing problems accurately.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
Occasionally engage in welding tasks as needed for vehicle repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documents.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of the job responsibilities.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
