HGV Technicians wanted! – PERMANENT LATE SHIFTS.

Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £22.50 an hour – competitive salary
Hours: 4 Day week 40 hours a week with overtime opportunities (Shift dependant)

The Challenge…

As one of our technicians, you will be able…

Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of trucks and vans to DVSA standards
Performing diagnostic tests to identify faults and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
Ensure all vehicles meet DVSA standards and health and safety requirements.
Keep up to date with all relevant DVSA and product developments.
Receptive to training and participate in ongoing development and continuous improvement.
Support and mentor our apprentices.
Complete work directed by the Shift Supervisor, Workshop Controller or Dealer Point Manager.

The Day to Day…

Permanent late shifts available

Option 1

11:30am – 10:00pm
30-minute lunch
Choose your own 4-day shift pattern

Option 2

10:00am – 8:30pm
30-minute lunch
Choose your own 4-day shift pattern

A workshop breakdown rota is also available on discussion in the interview stage

What we’re looking for…

Qualified HGV Technician (City and Guilds level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) – related to Commercial Vehicles

An Efficient, neat technician with proven experience in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining LCVs and HGVs.
Your own set of tools – but we’ll give you an allowance.
A valid and clean driving licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A problem-solving mindset with a can-do attitude.
Main Dealer experience

You’ll really hit the ground running if you have…

Experience with a Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks Dealership
Experience with working with Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks products
Experience using My Check.
