Commercial Shop Fitters is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Carpenter/Joiner to join our team on a freelance basis, starting 10th August on a project in Brixton.
We are looking for someone who genuinely takes pride in their workmanship. Working to an exceptionally high specification and maintaining the standards our company is known for is essential. What You'll Be Doing
- Installing high-specification joinery on retail and commercial fit-out projects.
- Fitting bespoke counters, fixtures, wall panelling and fitted furniture to precise specifications.
- Reading and working from detailed drawings and technical plans.
- Working closely with site managers and other trades to deliver projects on programme.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment.
- Solving on-site challenges with practical, high-quality workmanship.
- Representing Commercial Shop Fitters professionally on every site.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in shopfitting and high-end interior joinery.
- A skilled carpenter/joiner with excellent attention to detail.
- Someone who takes genuine pride in their work and consistently delivers first-class finishes.
- Ability to work accurately from drawings and measurements.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Own tools and transport (essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel and stay away for future nationwide projects if required.
- SSSTS, SMSTS or First Aid qualifications are desirable but not essential.
