Full job description

URGENTLY REQUIRED - FOR IMMEDIATE START- MATERIAL HANDLER to work in our friendly busy injection moulding company.

Permanent position. Day Shift: 07:00 am to 3pm Monday to Friday - 5 days per week = 37.5 hours.

Paid weekly - 1 week in arrears at a Starting rate of £12.75p/h. REVIEWED AFTER 3 MONTHS.

28 days Holiday per year including Bank Holidays.

Company closes for Holiday over Christmas period.

You will have a good understanding of the English Language and be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Your main duty is to maintain an effective control of the production material. This includes ensuring the machines have the correct material at ALL times, preparing materials in advance of tool changes to ensure a swift changeover. To label all materials clearly using correct material ID, to keep dryers and hoppers in good condition, reporting any issues to the maintenance engineer, maintaining Filter cleaning logs for all moulding machines, ensuring regrind is done in a timely manner and bags are correctly labelled, returning materials to correct locations and to follow work orders instructions. Ensuring levels of raw materials are accurate at all times notifying the production scheduler of any discrepancies. To comply with all Health and Safety Regulations as required, good housekeeping at high levels at all times . Reporting defects with any material to superiors, to assist machine operators by covering for breaks. Excellent time keeping and attendance is paramount.
