Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join our team as a carpenter. This role involves working across various construction and maintenance projects, requiring a broad range of practical skills. The successful candidate will contribute to the completion of building, repair, and refurbishment tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. This is a self employed position.

Duties

Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials in line with project specifications
Install doors, windows, flooring, and cabinetry
Assist with construction painting to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings
Repair and refurbish existing structures
Work collaboratively with other trades and site managers
Undertake heavy lifting as required for moving materials or equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout all project phases

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have own transport and tools
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks over extended periods
Strong attention to safety procedures and regulations on-site
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are desirable but not essential

This role is ideal for motivated self-employed carpenter eager to apply their skill set within a professional construction environment.
