We are seeking a Liner Manager to advance our UK operations in yacht transportation. We're looking for a visionary leader with deep expertise in global marine logistics and commercial insight. In this pivotal role, you'll optimize liner services, manage vessel capacity, and navigate international maritime regulations, turning challenges into opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively manage the shipment file from start to finish

Responsible for the formulation and submission of shipment estimates; including the following-up of submitted estimates to facilitate conversion into bookings.

Take full ownership and responsibility for the operational and financial aspects of the shipment file

Actively manage the documentation processes associated with international cargo shipping

Assist in communicating and developing relationships with key stakeholders such as trucking companies, surveyors, loadmasters, boat wrappers, and vessel operators.

Schedule and route yachts efficiently, ensuring timely delivery, improved service, and profit margins.

Coordinate all aspects of yacht shipping, including cradling, insurance, wrapping, customs, and surveying.

Collaborate with local and international teams to boost new business opportunities

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as the main contact for major accounts, ensuring smooth operations.

Demonstrate expertise in out-of-gauge/project cargo, working with loadmasters and port authorities.

Manage accurate and timely shipping documentation, including customs paperwork and Bills of Lading.

Stay updated on international shipping regulations and regional sensitivities.

Use creative problem-solving to resolve transport issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
Our ideal candidate will:

Have demonstrable experience in marine shipping, preferably in yacht or project cargo transport.

Be well-versed in vessel stability, cargo securing, and maritime safety regulations, with familiarity in international codes and conventions (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL).

Knowledge and proficiency in executing the operational and financial aspects of sea freight exports and cross-trade shipments (working independently)

Experience in handling project shipments would be a decided advantage.

Proficiency in MS Office suite; operational use of Cargowise would be preferable

Have strong commercial and financial insight.

Be adaptable to working irregular hours and traveling if required
