Multi-Skilled Automotive Technician / Workshop All-Rounder We are looking for a skilled, reliable and highly motivated Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. The primary role will be vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and general automotive work, but we are particularly interested in someone who is hands-on, versatile and capable of taking on a variety of responsibilities within the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with cars, is mechanically minded, takes pride in their work and has a “can-do” attitude. Key Responsibilities * Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs. * Identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and professionally. * Assist with general workshop duties and vehicle preparation. * Carry out vehicle wrapping and window tinting where experienced, or be willing to learn. * Assist with vehicle detailing and presentation when required. * Create and edit video content for the business, including vehicle/workshop footage. * Assist with social media management, posting content and engaging with customers online. * Help with general business and workshop tasks as required. * Be able to multitask and adapt to different jobs and priorities throughout the working day. * Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment. * Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and vehicles. Essential Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanic / Automotive Technician. * Strong practical and problem-solving skills. * Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship. * Reliable, punctual and professional. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Full UK driving licence — essential, as the role will involve driving vehicles and may involve future vehicle transportation and collection/delivery duties as well as mobile mechanic mobile valet/detail. * A positive attitude and willingness to get involved in different areas of the business. Additional Skills – Highly Desirable We would be particularly interested in candidates who also have experience in any of the following: * Vehicle wrapping / PPF / vinyl installation * Window tinting * Vehicle detailing * Video filming and editing * Photography * Social media management and content creation * Basic graphic design * General electrical or fabrication work * Any other practical automotive or workshop skills You do not need to be an expert in every area. We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, willing to learn and able to turn their hand to different tasks. The Ideal Candidate The ideal person will be more than just a mechanic.
