Job Overview

Nexacart Digital Ltd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to provide essential administrative and operational support across the business. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day administration of our retail operations, support sales and inventory management, maintain accurate business records, and help ensure the efficient running of the office.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries, ensuring they are handled professionally and directed to the appropriate team members.
Maintain organised physical and electronic filing systems for business records, supplier documentation, invoices, and customer information.
Perform accurate data entry using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, inventory management systems, and accounting software where applicable.
Process customer orders, update sales records, and assist with maintaining accurate stock and inventory information.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, purchase orders, and stock availability.
Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and supporting general office administration.
Prepare business reports, sales summaries, correspondence, and presentations as required by management.
Support invoicing, purchase order processing, and basic bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Assist with inventory audits and ensure stock records are accurate and up to date.
Work closely with the sales, purchasing, and management teams to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or business support role, preferably within a retail, wholesale, or e-commerce environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Calendar).
Strong computer literacy with excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
Experience using QuickBooks, inventory management software, or similar business systems is desirable but not essential.
Ability to maintain accurate records relating to sales, inventory, suppliers, and administrative activities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to supporting business operations.
