Job Summary

Responsible for assisting the construction team in their day-to-day activities by providing support for a range of tasks. This role will be based in Cornwall but support works elsewhere in the UK working on a variety of construction projects, including housing and commercial works.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of general labour
Storing and securing equipment as well as maintaining equipment & tools
Load unload and move materials
Mix, transfer and extend materials e.g. concrete and asphalt
Maintaining construction sites, tidying, clearing debris, skip management
Assist in the construction of buildings to include externals, internals & roof maintenance works
Assist with erecting of scaffold, both static and moveable
Maintain gardens and external areas
To undertake other work across the property portfolio including Domestic and Commercial construction and maintenance.
Carry out any other planned maintenance and fault response work in line with competency; this may be unrelated to specialism
Ensure completion of the appropriate paperwork
Willingness to undertake training both on an individual or corporate basis.
Flexibility to meet operational requirements.
Adhering to all elements of Health & Safety, including working at heights
To work as a positive team player, demonstrating mutual respect and integrity for others whilst maintaining open and effective communication at all levels within the business.
Supporting work across the UK with compensation for working away.

Key Skill/Experience Requirements

Demonstrated relevant experience working within the construction industry.
Attention to detail.
Ability to demonstrate journey and workload planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid UK Driving License
1 year Construction experience required
CSCS Green Card desirable
