Full job description

Job Summary

HighWater is the leading bespoke private water supply company in Scotland.

The primary purpose of the Project Manager is the efficient management of sales enquiries, design, installation, completion, commissioning and handover to client, of private water supply systems, thereby ensuring the effective delivery and operation of the HighWater business.

Duties

o Handle new enquiries as allocated.

o Grow the business by effective and professional handling of new enquiries, both referred and self-generated.

o Provide excellent customer service and foster client relationships from a perspective of safety, quality and growth.

o Carry out site visits, preparation of quotes, manage both company and client expectation

o Liaise with colleagues to identify most effective solution.

o Design, plan and monitor installation works and service delivery standards.

o Prepare authoritative reports.

o Provide support to colleagues in relation to SEPA compliance.

o Provide support to colleagues in relation to hydrogeology.

Qualifications & Experience

o Educated to degree level or have a proven track record, preferably in a technical discipline (essential)

o An understanding of hydrogeology (desirable)

o An understanding of water treatment works (desirable)

o An understanding of environmental regulations and the regulatory framework (desirable)

o Planning and organisational skills (essential)

o Good communication and leadership skills (essential)

o Ability to work under pressure (essential)

o Ambition and drive to achieve results (essential)

o Sound judgement and decision making (essential)

o Highly organised team member (essential)

o Experience in negotiating and problem resolution (essential)

o Willingness to develop within the HighWater organisation (essential)

o Knowledge of Health and Safety matters and a positive attitude towards implementing robust Health and Safety protocols (essential)

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours / week)
