Slitter / Rewind Operator

Location: Stockport

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

MP+H Packaging is a leading manufacturer of printed flexible packaging and labels. We are looking for a Slitter / Rewind Operator to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate slitter and rewind machinery safely and efficiently.
Ensure finished reels are produced to customer specifications and quality standards.
Carry out quality inspections throughout the production process.
Remove and dispose of production waste in line with company procedures.
Complete all production paperwork and records accurately.
Report machinery faults, defects, wear and tear, or maintenance requirements to management.
Assist with Goods In and Goods Out activities as required.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the production and warehouse areas.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Reliable and punctual
Ability to follow documented procedures and complete production records accurately.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience operating slitter and/or rewind machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Forklift Truck Licence (preferred but not essential).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
7:30am – 4:00pm

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Work Location: In person
