Vehicle Prepper / Painter Prepper

Company: Millennium Motors (Stoke)LTD Location: Stoke, Stoke-on-Trent Job Type: Part-time or full time available

Contract Type: Temporary leading to permanent position for the right candidate Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

About Us

Millennium Motors (Stoke) LTD is a busy vehicle body repair centre specialising in all types of vehicle repair and refinishing. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Prepper / Painter Prepper to join our team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles and panels to a high standard prior to painting while supporting the smooth running of our busy body shop.

Duties Include:

Preparing vehicles and panels for paintwork
Sanding, masking and filling damaged areas
Priming and flatting panels
Assisting with paintwork where required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Working efficiently to meet deadlines while ensuring a high-quality finish
Carrying out all work to a high standard and following company procedures

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper is essential
Painter/Prepper experience is advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Good time management and a positive attitude
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
