Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at A&I Coaches Ltd in Stonehaven. This pivotal role involves managing our team, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring the smooth running of our transportation services to uphold our company’s standards of excellence. We are currently implimenting new Standard Operating Procedures in our business
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the taxi services to ensure efficiency and high-quality customer service.
- Manage and motivate a team of drivers and administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve service delivery.
- Coordinate schedules for school runs, airport transfers, city routes, and special requests.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize business growth opportunities.
- Proven management experience within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with administrative tasks related to fleet management is preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to develop operational strategies that enhance efficiency.
