£42,322 - £46,276 / £46,899 - £51,837
£23.19 - £25.36 / £25.70 - £28.41 per hour
The above amounts include Shift and Distant Islands Allowance.
You will be reporting to the Team Manager (Youth Services).
Your working pattern is Monday to Friday including some weekend work. We are happy to talk flexible working, where possible.
The purpose of this role is to promote, develop and deliver local learning and development opportunities in line with identified need and national priorities and to build sustained partnerships between the community, voluntary and public agencies to address community needs.
The successful candidate will work to initiate, plan and lead activities that deliver high-quality community learning opportunities. They will assist the team in providing learning and development opportunities for learners that will improve educational attainment, address educational and social disadvantage and support adults and young people to make positive changes to their lives and in the lives of their communities. The successful candidate will be required to vary the focus of their work between adults and young people as directed by the service manager, but in the immediate future, will be focused on children, young people and families.

This post is a regulated role with children and adults and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
