We are looking for an experienced Website Optimisation Manager to take ownership of our ecommerce customer journey and continuously improve how customers discover products, navigate our website and complete their purchase.

What you'll be doing
As our Website Optimisation Manager, you will own the onsite customer experience from homepage to checkout, ensuring every interaction is intuitive, engaging and commercially effective.
Working closely with our Trading, Digital Marketing and Technology teams, you will identify opportunities to improve conversion, remove customer friction, and enhance the overall online experience.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving continuous improvements to the customer journey.
- Leading website optimisation and conversion rate improvement initiatives.
- Using customer behaviour and data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Delivering high-performing landing pages and product journeys.
- Improving onsite search, navigation, and product discovery.
- Working with developers to deliver website enhancements that make a real commercial impact.
- Measuring success through data, insight, and continual testing.
What we are looking for:
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience managing or improving an eCommerce website.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys, website optimisation and digital experience.
- Experience using analytics and insight to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of online trading and revenue growth.
- Experience working with technical teams to deliver website improvements.
- Ability to translate customer and commercial needs into clear priorities and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across teams.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating simple and effective digital experiences.
- Curiosity about emerging eCommerce trends, personalisation, AI and new technologies that can improve customer experience.
Desirable
- Experience in conversion rate optimisation (CRO), A/B testing or experimentation.
- Experience using tools such as Google Analytics 4, heatmaps or customer behaviour analytics platforms.
- Experience within retail or eCommerce environments.
- Understanding of CMS, digital merchandising platforms and website optimisation tools.
Experience working within agile development environments

What you’ll get:

- Competitive Salary: Range from £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (Grade T-C).
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
