Full job description

Grey Seal Academy a successful, Ofsted Grade 2 - Good, training provider is seeking a professional, experienced Trainer or experienced Maintenance Manager to deliver property maintenance apprenticeships to a range of employed learners on Apprenticeship Standards. You will be training individuals and groups as well as making use of a range of technology such as Teams and an online portfolio. You will also have input into training design and improvements which will be individualised to learners and / or organisations. You will need to have gained solid property maintenance experience preferably with qualifications for training and assessment, however qualifications can be achieved within the role where necessary.

We work with a range of large blue chip employers, public sector and SMEs. You will also have the opportunity to deliver other Apprenticeships that you have occupational experience in e.g., facilities management, horticulture, management etc

Full time or part time would be considered

Role – Property Maintenance Trainer / Assessor

Delivering training in property maintenance and possibly other subjects. The additional subjects will only be added according to your personal work experience and knowledge
Delivering training using a range of methods both individually and in small groups
Delivering training mainly online individually and in groups. Some
Apprenticeships will require site visits which you will do in our mobile training unit (3.5 tonne vehicle) where you will train practical repair / maintenance skills such as plastering repairs, basic plumbing, painting, tiling (e.g., splashback size), door hanging etc. This will require overnight stays at times for which you will receive an additional payment in addition to expenses and subsistance)
Assisting with ongoing development and continuous improvement of training materials and course content
Engaging with employers in terms of feedback, customer service, reviews etc.
Ensuring the administration and compliance of your caseload is maintained
Working from home and field based (expensed)

Requirements - Property maintenance Trainer / Assessor

· Property maintenance experience

· Training / Supervisory experience

· Preferably with training and / or assessment qualifications e.g., A1, TAQA, E&T, PTTLS, Cert Ed, DTTLS

· Preferably with quality assurance qualifications e.g., IQA

· Property maintenance qualifications are preferable

· Driving licence

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
