Full job description

The role

Our Outsourced Finance team allow businesses to outsource many of their financial functions, including undertaking the administrative tasks of bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns.

We’re looking for a Bookkeeper with experience to join our well established and supportive team, to be based in our Taunton or Yeovil office.

Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining records and preparing VAT returns for a portfolio of SME clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

What we need from you

Ideally you will:

Be AAT part qualified or qualified
Have proven experience in a bookkeeping role
Have a strong understanding of VAT and bookkeeping principles
Be proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero
Be a confident and collaborative team player
Show excellent people skills and the ability to offer outstanding customer service to clients
Have self-motivation and a strong work ethic
Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
