Full job description

We are looking for a friendly, professional and reliable Receptionist to join our team at Drake Hotel.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. The role is permanent, with opportunity for additional hours during the summer period, depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities:

Welcoming guests and providing a warm, professional first impression
Managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Handling guest enquiries in person, over the phone and by email
Taking bookings and supporting general front desk administration
Assisting with guest requests and helping ensure a smooth stay
Working closely with the wider team to maintain high standards of service

What we’re looking for:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, professional and approachable manner
Good organisation and attention to detail
Confidence using booking systems, email and general computer systems
Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment
Previous reception, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred
