Job title: Finance Business Partner

Based at: Sandown Park Racecourse

Contract type: 12-month Fixed Term

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join us on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting management accounts and business partnering activity across several locations. This is a practical, hands‑on role suited to someone who can build strong working relationships and deliver reliable financial insight in a busy, varied environment.

The Finance Business Partner will

Business partnering with General Managers and budget holders to drive performance and support informed decision‑making.
Regular analysis to highlight issues, opportunities and actions for income growth and cost control.
Support for budget review meetings to track spend, challenge assumptions and refine forecasts.
A focus on improving analysis, reporting and processes to enhance clarity and efficiency.
Leading performance reviews to deepen understanding of KPIs and business drivers.
Preparation of monthly management accounts for designated racecourses.
Detailed reconciliations between accounts and booking systems to maintain financial accuracy
Balance sheet reconciliations and clear reporting of key movements

About you

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations with a tthorough understanding of management information systems.
Confident communicator with experience business partnering with commercial or operational teams to deliver business objectives.
Skilled in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Analytical with strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of the drivers of business performance and KPIs.
Collaborative and able to successfully communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial..
