Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish)

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £175 - £255 per day (MPS/UPS dependant on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time & Term Time Only
Start Date: New Academic Term

Clarence Recruitment is working closely with a successful secondary school in Lincoln seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their thriving Languages Department from the new academic term.

This is an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of linguists, helping students develop confidence in communication, broaden their cultural awareness, and achieve outstanding outcomes in both French and Spanish.

Whether you're an experienced MFL practitioner or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT), you'll be joining a welcoming and supportive school committed to high standards, professional development, and educational excellence.

The Role

As a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, you will:

Teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that inspire a love of languages.
Encourage students to develop practical communication skills and cultural understanding.
Plan and deliver lessons that support progress for learners of all abilities.
Monitor, assess, and track student achievement effectively.
Contribute positively to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Support and promote enrichment opportunities, trips, and activities that enhance language learning beyond the classroom.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Can teach both French and Spanish to Key Stage 4.
Has excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for language learning.
Demonstrates strong classroom management and effective teaching practice.
Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and student engagement.
Is committed to raising standards and securing positive outcomes for students.
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a successful and supportive team.
Is enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school.
