An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Alliance Complex Lives Navigator (20 hours per week).
You’ll be working with women across Torbay who are experiencing multiple complex needs and disadvantages.
You will play a major part in improving the general wellbeing of these women, who live complex lives and who experience multiple disadvantages including homelessness, sexual exploitation, domestic and /or sexual violence in adulthood or childhood. They may use drugs and/or alcohol, experience poor mental health and may be at risk of offending.
You will be working alongside the individual, acting as an advocate for them and providing a safe and trusted link to wider support networks including statutory and voluntary sector organisations, Victim Support, and mental health services.
The role is based at our Torquay homeless hostel but you will spend a lot of time in the wider community.
This post is funded until September 2028 but may be extended if funding is received. A secondment will be considered.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a lasting change to the lives of vulnerable women.
This position is for a fixed term until 30th September 2028.
This post will be carrying out Regulated Activity. As such the post will require an Enhanced Criminal Record Check plus an additional Barred List Check. The check will reveal any spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions (which have not been filtered), any local Police information and a check of either the Adult, Child or Adult and Child Barred Lists.
