Full job description

We are looking for an experienced, client-facing Technical Business Analyst to join our Structured Retail Products (SRP) Platform team and support a key client account. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product, and engineering, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and delivered end-to-end within a complex capital markets platform.

This is a hands-on role within the product team, working closely with clients and engineers to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications and drive delivery through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead requirements definition and translate business needs into clear functional specs
Own Jira user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation
Work closely with clients and engineering teams to shape and deliver solutions
Support solution design discussions with a strong technical understanding

Validate solutions through functional testing and business sign-off
Communicate clearly with stakeholders on scope, progress, and risks

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience as a Business Analyst (typically 5+ years), ideally within investment banking or capital markets
Strong client-facing experience and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in Agile environments with engineering teams
Strong Jira/spec writing skills (user stories, acceptance criteria)
Good technical understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations
Proven ability to own delivery end-to-end

Nice to Have

Experience working with structured products
Familiarity with front-to-back workflows in capital markets or issuance-related platforms
Exposure to internal UAT, client acceptance processes, or pre-release validation activities
