Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Locum Pharmacist to join our healthcare team on a temporary basis through September, October and November. In this vital role, you will provide expert pharmaceutical care, support medication management, and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will help maintain seamless pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers alike.

Duties

Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to review medication orders and optimize treatment plans
Monitor patient responses to medications, adjusting therapy as needed in consultation with medical staff
Maintain meticulous pharmacy records, including medication logs, inventory management, and documentation of interventions
Support medication administration processes within clinical settings such as hospitals or outpatient clinics
Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical guidelines, drug information, and safety protocols to ensure best practices

Qualifications

Valid registration as a licensed Pharmacist with relevant regulatory authorities
Proven experience working as a Pharmacist
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and pharmacology principles
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care through clear communication and attentive service
Experience with medication administration procedures and protocols within healthcare environments
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
