Our Litigation Department deals with a broad range of civil litigation work and currently comprises nine fee earners together with support staff. The personal injury team is 3 strong, comprising a Partner, part time Chartered Legal Executive, and part qualified CILEX.
We currently have a vacancy for a personal injury paralegal/lawyer.
The successful candidate will ideally have at least a year’s claimant personal injury experience, (clinical negligence knowledge would be a bonus), but we are willing to consider candidates who have worked in other areas of litigation provided they can demonstrate an understanding of, and real commitment to, personal injury work.
You will be working as part of the personal injury team, assisting on a wide variety of cases.
The team is based at our Exeter office where you will need to spend at least 3 days per week. Hybrid working is available after the first month, provided you have successfully integrated into the team. You will need to travel out to other offices across East Devon and South Somerset on occasion to see clients.
Involvement in the firm’s marketing and business development plan, is an important part of the job, as is the ability to have and follow through ideas for actively developing new sources of personal injury work.
