As a Receptionist, you'll often be the first person residents, families, visitors and colleagues see when they arrive at our home. You'll help create an environment that feels welcoming, friendly and reassuring from the moment someone walks through the door.

Whether you're greeting a family member, sharing a smile with a resident, answering a telephone call or helping someone find what they need, you'll play an important part in making our home feel like home.

Your Role:

As our Receptionist, you'll be at the heart of the home, providing a warm and professional welcome while supporting the day-to-day running of reception.

You'll get to know our residents and their families, build positive relationships with visitors and colleagues, and make sure everyone who contacts or visits the home receives a friendly and

helpful experience.

Your role will include:

Welcoming residents, families, visitors and professionals into the home.
Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
Supporting visitors and ensuring they are directed to the right person or area of the home.
Managing reception duties, correspondence and general administration.
Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks when required.
Helping to ensure reception is welcoming, organised and reflects the personality of our home.
Handling information sensitively and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Being a positive ambassador for Majesticare and our Continue Being Me philosophy.

About You:

We're looking for someone who understands that great reception isn't simply about answering the telephone or completing administration. It's about people.

You'll be someone who naturally makes people feel welcome and comfortable and enjoys building relationships with residents, families, visitors and colleagues.

You'll be someone who:

Communicates confidently both face-to-face and over the telephone.

Previous reception or administrative experience would be beneficial, but just as important to us is finding someone who shares our values and understands the importance of creating a fantastic experience for everyone who enters our home.

Full training and ongoing development will be provided, so you'll have everything you need to become an important part of the Majesticare family.

This is more than a reception desk.
