Role Purpose
The purpose of the Product Training Consultant role is to deliver world-class product training to Evac+Chair International (ECI) customers, in accordance with ECI's approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring a consistent, high-quality learning experience every time.
The Product Training Consultant is responsible for delivering engaging, informative and professional training courses that equip delegates with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to safely and effectively use Evac+Chair products. Through exceptional delivery, they will build delegate competence, ensuring participants successfully achieve the required learning outcomes while promoting safe evacuation practices.
They will possess an excellent working knowledge of ECI's product portfolio, together with a thorough understanding of the legislation, standards and guidance relevant to the sectors in which our customers operate. They will communicate technical information clearly and confidently, adapting their approach to suit different audiences and levels of experience.
The Product Training Consultant will be an engaging and confident facilitator who can create a positive learning environment for all delegates. They will use a variety of training techniques to encourage participation, maintain engagement and ensure every delegate is actively involved throughout the course, including those who may initially be reluctant, disengaged or lacking confidence. They will be skilled at reading the audience, adapting their delivery style where appropriate and fostering an inclusive environment that maximises learning for everyone.
When delivering training on customer sites, the Product Training Consultant will consistently demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism. They will adhere to all customer health and safety requirements, always represent ECI positively and interact with customers in a respectful, courteous and professional manner. They will remain calm and composed when handling questions, challenges or difficult situations, resolving them professionally whilst maintaining a positive customer experience.
The Product Training Consultant will also demonstrate strong commercial awareness, recognising that every customer interaction is an opportunity to strengthen long-term relationships and reinforce confidence in the ECI brand. Whilst the primary purpose of the role is to deliver world-class product training, the Product Training Consultant also plays an important role in supporting ECI's commercial success. Through meaningful customer interactions, they will identify opportunities for additional products, services, maintenance and training requirements, recognising customer needs and communicating these opportunities to the Sales team. They will actively contribute to the development and growth of their territory by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing customer relationships and helping to maximise the value of customer accounts. In doing so, they will not only support revenue growth and long-term commercial success but also help protect ECI's core business by reinforcing customer loyalty, increasing customer retention and reducing opportunities for competitors to gain a foothold within existing accounts.
As a visible representative of Evac+Chair International, the Product Training Consultant will act as a professional ambassador for the ECI brand, consistently demonstrating integrity, professionalism and customer focus. Every interaction with customers, delegates and colleagues should reinforce confidence in ECI's products, people and reputation, strengthening long-term relationships and supporting the continued growth of the business.
