Night Staffing Expansion - Beacon VetCare are looking for three additional ECC Veterinary Nurses
Beacon VetCare is looking for three additional ECC Veterinary Nurses as we continue to expand our night team at our 24/7 surgical centre in Cornwall.
Our practice started around a kitchen table just three years ago and has grown at a rapid pace. With 12 further colleagues joining us this summer, we are now a team of around 75, caring for more than 15,000 registered pets alongside a growing Community, Referral and Emergency caseload.
As our workload continues to grow, so does our staffing. This latest expansion will bring us to 30 RVNs across Beacon VetCare and will allow us to have two RVNs working overnight, plus a twilight RVN Monday-Friday, alongside an on-site Veterinary Surgeon.
The role
Our ECC team sees an exciting and challenging caseload, including spinal, orthopaedic and advanced soft-tissue cases, advanced imaging and their aftercare, alongside our busy community emergency service.
We are currently offering two rota options:
- 7 nights in every 3 weeks, in addition to our current provision. These can be worked as 7 straight nights or split into runs of 4 and 3.
- 7 nights, 5 twilight shifts and 2 weekend shifts every 6 weeks, plus 2 Bank Holiday day shifts per year.
