Are you a Vico Homes customer looking for an opportunity to gain employment and learn valuable new skills?

We have a number of placements which may be suitable!

Environment Assistants - Fencing Scheme

The main work is environmental improvements such as installing different types of fencing in Vico Homes estates, creating a defendable secure boundary, giving our tenants peace of mind. Work also includes the renewing of footpaths, relaying paving stones and flags, concreting and tarmacking. Other duties such as jet washing and painting could also be required.

Environment Assistants – Caretaking/Cleaning

These placements support our caretaking teams to maintain and clean the communal areas on our estates as well as some of our office facilities.

Business Support Assistants

These placements are clerical /administration roles and are offered throughout many different departments at Vico Homes. You would gain knowledge and understanding of customer services and develop your communication skills.

What we're looking for:

To join the Training for Employment Programme, we’re looking for someone who:

has a desire and commitment for supported self-development;
takes a proactive approach to the health and safety and welfare of self, colleagues and the public;
fully engages in a range of training modules which comprise of practical skills, the safe use of tools and equipment and Vico Homes mandatory Health and Safety training and eLearning;
carry out any other duties and prepared to work with other Vico Homes Teams and sections of the business as required; and
has the ability can carry out any other appropriate task as instructed by the site management team.
