Full job description

We're looking for an experienced Creative Designer to join our in-house Creative team at Hays Travel. With at least three years' experience in an agency or in-house environment, you'll be a versatile designer who enjoys bringing ideas to life across both digital and print.

From websites and email campaigns to brochures, social media content and brand assets, you'll create high-quality, engaging design that reflects our brand and supports our business goals. You'll be confident managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines and taking ownership of your work from concept through to final delivery.

As a more experienced member of the team, you'll also support and mentor junior designers, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop alongside the wider creative team.

What You'll Be Doing

Interpreting creative briefs and developing innovative design concepts.
Designing for digital channels including websites, email campaigns, social media and online advertising.
Creating print materials including brochures, promotional literature and marketing collateral.
Producing artwork in line with brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all channels.
Preparing artwork for both digital and print production.
Making revisions based on stakeholder feedback while maintaining quality and deadlines.
Proofreading artwork and following production sign-off processes.
Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and print partners to deliver projects successfully.
Supporting project planning and helping coordinate external suppliers where required.
Maintaining organised project files and documentation.
Attending creative, planning and project meetings.
Mentoring and supporting junior designers within the team.

What We're Looking For

Minimum three years' professional graphic design experience in an agency or in-house creative team.
An outstanding portfolio demonstrating creative thinking across both digital and print.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Strong understanding of digital design, email marketing, web design principles and print production.
Experience creating editorial layouts such as brochures, magazines or catalogues.
Experience designing digital marketing assets including email templates and social media content.
Excellent typography, layout and attention to detail.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to work independently.
