Job Description

We have a fantastic vacancy for a typist to join our expanding team in Newcastle. This is a multi-faceted role comprising various duties, such as producing high quality documentation with speed and accuracy, liaising with third parties and ensuring a first class service is afforded to internal and external stakeholders. It is therefore essential that you are confident with IT and Microsoft office software packages, especially Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint and is also confident at being pro-active and using your time effectively.

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid Working Available)
Hours: Full time and Part time hours available
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience and qualifications. Available upon request.

Requirements

Confident with IT and Microsoft office software packages, especially Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage and prioritise workloads.
Excellent planning, organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills at all levels.
Ability to produce concise business correspondence, proofread for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility/ adaptability to cope with change.
A team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Audio Typing with a high degree of speed and accuracy.
Maintain client records on the company software and ensure the client and firm's files are well presented, accurate and compliant.
Taking phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them where appropriate.
Client correspondence, written and verbal.
Delivering back office, reception and administration support where needed.

Due to the nature of the business, the role may also include additional responsibilities considered reasonable.
