Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey within an educational community that values increasing opportunities, improving outcomes for our students. We are looking for a Caretaker to join our team. Reporting to Operations Manager, you will undertake:
Key responsibilities:
Be responsible, for the security, safety, maintenance, and cleanliness of the site and buildings.
Provide porterage of Academy deliveries.
To undertake tasks to ensure the maintenance, security and health and safety of the school site (including grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective operation.)
Responsible for health and safety compliance requirements.
Pay range: Scale Grade 5 (SCP 9-17)| Actual & FTE (£27,254 - £31,022)
Qualifications and Skills:
Educated to a satisfactory standard in order to communicate effectively, both written and oral (Essential)
Driving Licence (Essential)
Ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date (Essential)
Ability to act on own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that arise (Essential)
Ability to effect minor repairs (Essential)
Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team (Essential)
Willingness to participate in further training and development opportunities (Essential)
Computer literate with good working knowledge of ICT including using the internet and Microsoft office suite (Desirable)
