Job description

We are currently looking for experienced Slinger/Signallers (Banksmen) to join our team working on water treatment projects across the Reading, Oxford and Slough areas.

We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals with experience working on busy civils and construction sites.

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

Water treatment or utilities projects
Civils and groundwork
Slinger/Signaller duties
Guiding and directing plant and lifting operations
Working alongside 360 excavators and other heavy plant
Ductile iron pipework experience

Requirements:

Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket
Previous experience on civils or construction sites
Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety
Strong communication skills
Reliable and hardworking attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay rate is £20 - £23

This assignment will take place on an active construction site controlled by our client. Workers may be exposed to the normal risks associated with construction activities, including moving plant and vehicles, manual handling, uneven ground, noise, dust, working at height, and interaction with other site activities. Site-specific risks will be briefed in full at induction on your first day on site and task-specific risks will be briefed daily or as required. You must adhere to all site rules, risk assessments and method statements, task briefings, toolbox talks, permits, supervision and required PPE
