Location: Northwest (Field‑based, with a focus on our Warrington depot)

About Star Power

Star Power is a leading provider of temporary power solutions, supplying generators and related equipment to a wide range of industries across the UK. With our head office in Bedfordshire and depots nationwide, we are experiencing significant growth and expanding our sales team to support increasing customer demand. We are now seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to drive new business and strengthen our presence across the Northwest region.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in accelerating regional growth by targeting a broad portfolio of customers. Reporting directly to the Sales Director and working closely with regional management, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans designed to win new business, re‑engage lapsed accounts, and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities

New business development — Generate revenue by securing new customers and revitalising lapsed accounts across the Northwest.
Territory planning — Work with management to set clear sales goals and maintain a strong future pipeline.
Cross‑functional collaboration — Partner with internal teams to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
Customer service support — Assist the wider team to ensure consistently high service standards.

What You’ll Bring

3+ years’ field sales experience within generator hire or a closely related industry.
Proven success in fast‑paced environments with a strong record of exceeding KPIs and targets.
Excellent problem‑solving and contingency planning skills.
Ability to build strong internal relationships with operational teams.
A structured, strategic approach to territory management and pipeline development.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive, collaborative, self‑motivated mindset.
A genuine go‑getter attitude with a passion for building long‑term customer relationships across the Northwest.
