Experienced Veterinary Surgeon – Swindon

VetsKlinic is a vibrant, innovative and proudly independent veterinary practice in Swindon. Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team.

We have a busy and varied caseload across both medicine and surgery, providing an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop their clinical skills within a well-supported environment.

Our team currently consists of 10 Veterinary Surgeons and 21 Nurses, including 12RVNs.

We believe strongly in creating a positive working environment where our team can enjoy a rewarding career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. There is no sole charge, no on-call and no out-of-hours work.

The Role

Full-time position
40-hour contract over 4 days, with 36 hours worked
Weekend rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am–2pm
No sole charge
No on-call or out-of-hours work
Busy and varied medical and surgical caseload
Dedicated nursing support for every Veterinary Surgeon
Scope for additional overtime if desired
Late shifts officially run until 8pm, but the practice closes at 7pm, meaning the team almost always finishes early rather than late

Salary: £44,000–£55,000, depending on experience
5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays
5 days' CPD leave and £1,600 CPD allowance
